Ores, minerals & chemicals

Most minerals and chemicals can be compacted or briquetted with or without a binder, if relatively dry and with the right particle size.

Fluxing salts

Granules of fluxing salt are used for non-ferrous foundry (Al, Mg…)

Lime / Limestone

High-calcium or dolomitic lime briquettes are mainly used by steel-mill manufacturers or by refractory brick producers.

Lime / Limestone granules are spread on the fields to correct the soil acidity in order to reach a neutral pH for the good development of the crops.

Potassium chloride and sulphate, ammonium sulphate / MOP – SOP - AS
  • Main application of MOP granules is single fertilizer mainly to be blended with other N and P fertilizers in bulk blending station.
  • Main application of SOP granules is single fertilizer mainly to be blended with other N and P fertilizers in bulk blending station.
  • Main application of AS granules is single fertilizer mainly to be blended with other P and K fertilizers in bulk blending station.
Bentonite, Sepiolite, Attapulgite

Clay granulation is mainly used to produce cat litters and absorbents.

Premix Mineral feed

Granules can be formed with premix mineral feed for animals (calcium carbonate, vitamins, pigments, etc…)

Coal, charcoal and coke

Coal briquettes can be used for home heating or as reducing agent for the steel manufacturing process. Charcoal briquettes are mainly used for barbecues.

Charcoal fines are briquetted for barbecue use or as a reducing agent.

And others as:

Hypochlorite, Molybdenum, Catalysts, Pigments, Sodium cyanide, Maleic anhydride, DMT, Glass batch mixes, Fluorspar, Frozen food, UO3 ….
